Download Festival Announces 20 further bands


Alongside Bullet For My Valentine and and Thin Lizzy,20 more bands has been inserted in the line up of Download Festival.

Following the two announcement word for Sonishphere,it is was now time for Download to reply back strongly as the main rock festival rival.

But with tonights additions they might just have done it. The twenty bands that have been added are:

Pendulum, Alice Cooper, Danzig, The Cult, Gwar, Gaslight Anthem, Alter Bridge, Korn, Clutch, Buckcherry, FM, Mr Big, Black Veil Brides, The Damned Things, Escape The Fate, Hollywood Undead, Rise To Remain, Masters Of Reality and the aforementioned Bullet For My Valentine and Thin Lizzy.

System Of A Down, Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold and Rob Zombie had already confirmed for the festival.

There are so many more bands still to be announced for Download Festival,it seems that great competition is on.

Perry coming to Edmonton on July 17

Sassy pop star heading to Edmonton,who got married with Russell Brand.Her California Dreams tour will stop on Sunday, July 17, at Rexall Place.

Tickets are available at various prices, including service charges, at Gigsport. On sale: Friday, Jan. 28.

Singer got fame with her titillating hit, I Kissed A Girl, from her 2008 pop debut, One of the Boys.

Second album 'Teenage Dreams' by Katy had done great business so far and more than five million copies around the world since its release last August has been sold out.

Perry is nominated for four Grammy Awards, which take place next month.

Panic At The Disco announce London show and ticket details

Panic At The Disco has revealed the details of London gig next month.On February 8,2011,the band will going to play a gig at London's Bush Hall.

The band is set up to release their third album name 'Vices And Virtues' in March.It would going to be the first album of band after founding member and principal songwriter Ryan Ross left the band along with bassist Jon Walker.

'The Ballad Of Mona Lisa',a new single by band will be release next months.

TwinsFest sold out

After capping the number of tickets at 25,000 because of a destination change,The Minnesota Twins have sold out the team's annual fan festival for the first time.

The National Sports Center in Blaine was selected as the venue for 3-day event because of the collapse of the Metrodome roof.The team says it has never limited the number of tickets to TwinsFest in the past, but was compelled to do so because of the move to the Sports Center.

The event commence on Friday, Jan. 28 to Sunday, Jan. 30.Former and future team players are expected to appear during the course of the weekend says the Twin. TwinsFest is an annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.

Tickets still available for BeauSoliel concert in Goshen

"The best Cajun band in the world" – BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet – will perform at Goshen College during their Performing Arts Series concert on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall.
